HOW WE WORK:
At CS2 Design Group, a tiered structure is implemented in order to effectively manage projects. Each project has a managing partner assigned to the project, an associate project manager and a design team support staff to assure project quality. CS2 Design Group managing partners focus on selecting the ideal associate project manager for each individual project. By evaluating the project scope and the experience of their project managers, CS2 managing partners then determine the best possible team for the job. The design team begins with the preliminary design phase and works to final design drawings, specifications and project bid documents. CS2 design teams remain in place through all phases of a project providing continuity and quality. Each phase of the process is guided by a commitment to accuracy and an attention to detail.

TECHNOLOGY:
CS2 is committed to the latest technology. Our drawings are produced on our LC Computer-aided design system utilizing the current version of AutoCadTM software which we have customized for our own use. RevitTM Building Systems is new to the mechanical and electrical consulting industry and we are aggressively implementing this technology into our engineering practices. Our workstations are connected via a local area network which enables rapid transfer of data and ensures that all drawings utilize the most current floor plans. We routinely utilize the Internet via our DSL connection for transfer of documents.

ACCURACY OF DOCUMENTS:
We know that architects and owners are best served when the mechanical and electrical bid documents are accurate as possible. This results in fewer field questions, fewer change orders, and lower prices.

DESIGN FITS BUDGET:
Our goal is to design the best systems possible within the owner’s budget while specifying energy efficient products and optimum operating costs.
