ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH

In March, 2002 a fire destroyed St. Michael's Church in Wheaton, Illinois.

CS2 Design Group has completed the Construction Documents and the project is currently under construction. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2005.

The new St. Michael's Church will be a 24,000 square foot building with an estimated construction budget of $9,750,000. The new structure will have a seating capacity of 1,050 and consist of a worship space, narthex, bell tower, basement, sound system, demolition (rectory, convent, slab), water retention, new Parish Administrative Offices, additional space, relocation of preschool and kindergarten.

ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL NATATORIUM
Elk Grove, Illinois

The Elk Grove High School Natatorium is a 32,000 square foot, $8 million project. The new facility consists of an eight lane, 25 yard, 14 foot deep competitive swimming pool featuring two one meter diving boards, one three meter diving board, spectator seating for 320, public lobby with concession area and storage space, coaches' office, timing station, showers and locker rooms.

The pool features a no wake design, sound system (including underwater sound for synchronized swimming), water polo, electronic timing system, digital scoreboard, lighting, plumbing, HVAC system (air handling unit is designed to remove chlorine and provide outside air). Project was successfully completed on time and within budget.

LAKE FOREST COLLEGE
DONNELLEY AND LEE LIBRARY
Lake Forest, Illinois

The new Donnelley and Lee Library at Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois, was an $18 million expansion and renovation project.

The new library has a 24-hour cyber café and several other state-of-the-art features such as a wireless network enabling students to connect laptops to the campus network; 24-hour computing labs; small group study rooms, numerous study spaces and workstations with electrical power and data ports located near every seat; a Speech and Video Production room, "smart classrooms" for technological instruction; a Technology Resource Center, and additional space to accommodate for future technological changes.
